Birthday Party!

Two weekends ago we attended a birthday party at a park for one of Megan's friends. Here's Abigail sitting in her stroller enjoying bites of hot dog and applesauce.

Happenings Around the House

A little pre-bedtime reading.

Megan and I made these milk jug jack-o-lanterns. We painted them with orange acrylic paint, pasted on face pieces made of black construction paper, wrapped green tissue paper around the lids, and strung construction paper leaves onto green pipe cleaners. The jugs also have cut-out holes in the back, so Megan can collect treats in these, or we can put lights inside them.

I tried a Parmesan chicken recipe and a sauted garlic and Parmesan green bean recipe the other week. It was such a nice-looking meal Josh took a picture.

More wedding fun

We attended the outdoor wedding of one of Josh's college friends this past weekend in historic Tower Grove Park in St. Louis.
