We had a big hail storm this past Saturday. The bowl in this photo is really big, so it may not provide accurate perspective as to just how big the hail stones were. They were the size of golf balls, about 1 to 1 1/2 inches in diameter. My car, which is always parked in our driveway because our garage only fits one car, got two small dents on the roof and one on the front hood. A piece of our kitchen window frame also chipped off in the hail storm. Unbelievably, our glass-topped patio table survived unscathed. We're currently researching roofing companies and will have someone come out and inspect our roof. We were lucky. About ten miles south of us, they got baseball-sized hail and lots of smashed car windows!
