Trick or Treat!

The girls are bundled up and ready to hit the neighborhood. Megan observed that her winter hat had a "pomegranate" on it. She meant a pom-pom.

Baby lamb all cozy in the stroller.

Halloween Party

Abigail and I tagged along at Megan's preschool Halloween party last week. Here's baby lamb!

One of the party games. The kids had to put their hands behind their backs and eat a powdered doughnut off a string. Megan was good!

Megan's teacher in her homemade Fredbird costume.

Costume parade!

Waiting for her turn to hit the pinata the class made.

Baby lamb. A little earlier, she had fallen and gashed her chin a bit and chomped down on her inner lip. She was a sad baby.

Picking up candy and trinkets from the pinata.

Playing with orange play dough and fall-themed cookie cutters during choice time back in the classroom.

Blowing a paper "ghost" with a straw.

Megan brought candy bracelets to hand out to her classmates.

Waiting for treats.

Harmonicas and Halloween

Tiger baby!

Playing the harmonica like grandpa!

Abigail has wavy hair, especially on humid rainy days. All the straight-haired women in my family, myself included, would be proud. The curly gene comes from Josh's side of the family. His mom and one of his brothers sport curls. In fact, Abigail's face looks a lot like Josh's mom's, too.

Playing outside in the leaves on a sunny fall day.

I went to get Abigail up the other morning, and she was still sound asleep. Haven't gotten any sleeping baby pictures for a while. Love them.

Those full cheeks are exactly what we saw on the three-dimensional ultrasound pictures my doctor's office did during my pregnancy.

On a final note for this evening, today was Megan's preschool class' Halloween party. She's all decked out in last year's princess costume, which still fits.

Abigail and I attended the party. She came in costume as well. I did not. :)

Want to pat her little head?

Pictures of Megan's preschool party to come. And, Abigail turns one year old tomorrow!

Pumpkinland

Megan's preschool class visited a pumpkin patch last Friday. Abby and I tagged along.

Targets to hit with the corn cannon, which I assume must operate on weekends.

Megan and her classmates waiting for a wagon ride and tour of the farm.

Abigail is still afraid of noisy goats, but she warmed up to this cow and touched its nose.

She also laughed at this friendly pig who half-climbed the fence to get a closer look at us.

This was the only picture I got of both girls together, in the tire merry-go-round.

Snack time!
