Indiana trip, part four

My parents hosted a family cookout at their house. I love these pictures of Abby with her great grandmother, my mom's mom.

Cousin Sahara loves Abby.

Sahara held Abby almost the whole time. I got a nice break!

Cousin Levi, Aunt Kelli, and Uncle Mark (my brother).

All the cousins.

Levi brought a motorized ride-on toy, and Megan commandeered it. She told him he needed to learn how to share his toys.

Just a little stroll with some corn on the cob.

Indiana trip, part three

This is outside my family's church. We took photos here last summer when I was about five months pregnant with Abigail, and here we are a year later.

Indiana trip, part two

We spent one evening at a gathering where we listened to the Blud Brothers, the band my dad plays in. We have a CD at home that Megan loves listening to. It intrigued her to hear the music live.

My dad on the far left, rocking the trombone. He also plays the harmonica.

Cute baby listening to music.

Abigail gummed my ice cream cone. It was love at first taste.

Megan was thrilled to go for a wagon ride around the property.

Indiana trip, part one

We spent last week in Northwest Indiana visiting my family. Here's Abigail ready to get out of her car seat after the first leg of our long journey.

We stopped for lunch at the halfway point near Champaign, Illinois, at the place where Josh and I had our second date, Curtis Orchard. This particular day was the first day they were open for the season.

The orchard had a play area for kids and a petting zoo. This bridge connected the barn to the goat enclosure.

The goats were loud and bossy, and Abigail didn't care for them.

This Longhorn used to be an Cheddar's, and it's where Josh and I ate on our first date nearly eight years ago.

We had originally planned to meet for our first date at this Applebee's, but it was closed for an employee appreciation day, so we went next door to Cheddar's.

After lunch on our first date, we drove across the street to browse at Barnes and Noble. Now it's some other random store.

Museum of Transportation, part two

More pictures from Creation Station at the Museum of Transportation.

Hello, there!

Plastic breadstick, anyone?

After our time at Creation Station, we headed outside to look at the big trains.
