Indiana trip, part one

We spent last week in Northwest Indiana visiting my family. Here's Abigail ready to get out of her car seat after the first leg of our long journey.

We stopped for lunch at the halfway point near Champaign, Illinois, at the place where Josh and I had our second date, Curtis Orchard. This particular day was the first day they were open for the season.

The orchard had a play area for kids and a petting zoo. This bridge connected the barn to the goat enclosure.

The goats were loud and bossy, and Abigail didn't care for them.

This Longhorn used to be an Cheddar's, and it's where Josh and I ate on our first date nearly eight years ago.

We had originally planned to meet for our first date at this Applebee's, but it was closed for an employee appreciation day, so we went next door to Cheddar's.

After lunch on our first date, we drove across the street to browse at Barnes and Noble. Now it's some other random store.
